The Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living is all about sustainability - sustaining the environment and ourselves.
As you walk around the grounds of the Centre you'll feel a sense of peace and tranquillity as you breathe in the fresh air and enjoy being surrounded by open spaces, natural creeks and vegetation. Isn't this just the spot for your next special function - close to everywhere but worlds apart? The venues are do-it yourself venues. You hire the room or area and organise the event yourself. Please call the Centre for more information. We have one main indoor area for hire - the Kingfisher Room. This room is hired with the kitchen and small outdoor area for functions and events
The Kingfisher Room caters for larger groups. The doors to this room can open onto the Scenic Esplanade
overlooking the tranquil grounds of the property. The room can comfortably seat 60 in theatre-style seating, 40
U Shape and 60-100 standing.
The Currawong Room is a fully commercial kitchen which can be hired out if you are in need of a commercial kitchen space.

Large Kingfisher Room with kitchen hire
Seats 40 people or Cocktail Party 80 people or Buffet 50-60 people
Hire Rates
Mon-Fri (Week day hire ) is $420 full day or $200 for 1/2 day
Mon-Thurs (Weeknight hire) is $480 for 3hrs
Sat- Sun (Weekend day Hire) is $720 plus $100 bond
Fri-Sun (Weekend night hire) is $880 plus $200 bond plus $300 security fees

* $110.00 per hour additional hire fee over the set hire time

Centre will supply a venue hire agreement upon booking
