MCSL CLOSING MONDAY, 30 SEPTEMBER 2024

After reaching out to various organisations, MCSL has been unable to secure sufficient funding to continue its work.  We must therefore advise, with a heavy heart, that the Centre will close on Monday, 30 September 2024.  Thank you to the thousands of people who signed the petition.  Normal programming will continue to the end of September.  Term 3 of Little Explorers will go ahead and all scheduled workshops, school excursions, work experience, venue hire and volunteer programs will continue until then.

MCSL is a registered charity and community-focused organisation that aspires to be a world-class education facility and model for the promotion of sustainable technology and living practices in homes, urban precincts and businesses.

The Centre educates on and demonstrates renewable energy production, energy and water efficiency, waste management and recycling, biodiversity through green space management and chemical-free vegetable production.

MCSL offers community education workshops, school excursions, pre-school programs, sustainable barista training, tours, venue hire and runs projects that build social capacity and empower individuals to practice sustainable lifestyles.
